The above portrait was commissioned. Don't you just love those eyes! They are beautiful ... very expressive! I wonder where this painting is now. This was ordered by her boyfriend at that time and last we heard, they parted ways. I still remember those times when she came in for a sitting a few hours every morning for about a week ... a very nice lady.

They parted ways? Awww. Oh, well, such is life.

yup, they parted ways ...
thanks for the visit.
she looks like that tv actress from one of the tv shows - dallas. look at those eyes.

Who is she Nance....? She has a bit of sadness and also a strong personality.... I can see that very clear in her face.... A very mysterious woman.... I wonder what had happened, why the couple had parted ways....?
nini,
she does resembles ... can't remember her name ... i can picture her face but not her name. Let's see, there's Victoria Principal, Linda Evans, and "that" lady. old age creeping in! lol
love those eyes too!
Her name is Linda, she used to lived in our town but moved away.
what an intelligent observation, pepe because i think she was all that! i don't know much about her but she was pretty quite when she came for sittings. could be that she was torn between her present b.f. and to be ex-hubby. i think she was going thru divorce at that time ... and the artist captured it! (ahem) ;)
That's absolutely true Nance, every details and every imotions was really well preserved in that portrait as if it's telling a story of her life....! Amazing....! =D
Nance, you won't believe what I found out. Maybe a coincidence, but the actress' real name is Linda Gray and was a character in Dallas as Sue Ellen. Quite a resemblance!!!! Gee, maybe the same person???
