Today's Flowers

THESE ARE A few of my "wild" plants that show up on my yard in the spring. I say wild because I let them grow outside my garden beds. By the time we mow grass for the first time, they start going to seeds ...can't wait to see them in the spring! For more of TF, please click Here.

Johnny-Jump-Up (viola) they are all over my yard in the spring with this color and a solid purple.

Primrose in bold yellow. Their stems will shoot up from the ground-hugging thick big leaves.

Hyacinth, one of the sweetest smelling flowers.

Very nice picture..
I let many of my flowers grow where they want to grow.
The garden looks more natural.
Providing excellent food for insects and bees.
No flowers - no bees

I love the violas in the spring also. My white flowers are intermixed in the garden...I don't have the discipline to create single color beds, and I like the mix of color, textures and shapes in a bed.
