Love how you've shown us the beauty and in the spent blooms!
I really love the macro of the spent thistle - beautiful all on its own.

I love the last shot sis. Kala ko yung first shot is peonies, poppies pala yan hehehe. Yung neighbor kasi namin sa WV ang tawag nya dyan is peonies.

I liked that orange poppy and that spent thistle. I wonder if the one I photographed lately was also a thistle. Thanks for sharing here nance.

Been a very long time, I haven't visited anyone's blog. I will recompense one at a time to make up what I have lost and what I have missed.

Poppy flowers in Australia is used as a symbol of Remembrance Day celebration if I am not mistaken.

And thank you for featuring their dying states as from them a new life begins.

Thistles are prominent in the countryside where they grow profusely here. And in springtime, they bring hayfever to the countryfolks for those who are allergy to their pollens.

Lovely to see your flowers grow.
